PARKING ENFORCEMENT
If you have any questions or concerns regarding vehicles parked in your
neighborhood, contact Snohomish Police Department at 360-568-0888. Our
Community Service Officer also responds to reports of abandoned vehicle
problems and “signs off” hulk vehicles.

Animal Cruelty and Neglect
To report animal cruelty or neglect, please dial 911.
Aggressive Dogs
To report an incident regarding an aggressive dog, please dial 911.
Dog Licensing
SMC 7.04.040 requires all dogs residing within the City of Snohomish
shall be licensed. Unlicensed dogs shall be subject to impoundment
pursuant to SMC Section 7.12.030 and/or a fine of $100.
To obtain an annual dog license, click on the following link,
DOG LICENSE APPLICATION and mail into City Hall at 116 Union Avenue,
Snohomish or you can stop by City Hall and fill out an annual dog
license application form. For spayed and neutered pets the annual fee is
$10. For unaltered pets the fee is $35. Dangerous and Potentially
Dangerous Dogs are to be licensed annually for a fee of $100.
Lost and Found Animals
If you find a dog, or any animal in the City of Snohomish please bring
it to the Snohomish Police Department during business hours (8am – 5pm)
or contact our Animal Control Officer at 360-568-0888n ext 226.
If you have lost an animal in the City of Snohomish, please call
360-568-0888 ext. 0 to report your lost pet. By contacting your animal’s
veterinarian and the Everett Animal Shelter (425-257-6000) you will help
us in locating your pet’s home that much faster.
Leash Law
Allowing any animal to run at large is prohibited in the City of
Snohomish. No animal except domestic cats shall be allowed to run at
large during any hour of the day or night upon any unenclosed lands,
public or private, within the limits of the City, or upon any public
street, avenue, alley, or other public place within the City. Permitting
any animal to run at large is punishable by a $100 fine per animal, per
incident.

Nuisance and Barking Dogs
To report a nuisance or barking dog in your area, please dial 911.
Continuous and ongoing problems of this sort should also be reported to
Snohomish Animal Control at 360-568-0888 ext. 226.

FINGERPRINTING
To make an appointment to have your fingerprints taken please call the
Snohomish Police Department at 360-568-0888 ext. 0. If you reside inside
the City of Snohomish this service is provided at no charge. For all
other citizens, there is a $10 charge.
