City Manager's
Welcome

Introducing Commingled Recycling!

The City of Snohomish is introducing a new and improved recycling program for our community called Commingled Recycling.  Commingled Recycling is easy, and accepts a wide range of materials.  Recycling reduces the amount of garbage you put out for collection... which may help reduce your garbage costs!

    Why Commingled Recycling?
Research shows participation and recycling levels increase when sorting is not required.  Commingled recycling is more efficient because collection trucks can hold more materials in a single load.  New recycling technology allows materials to be sorted at a central location.
