Maple Avenue
The Maple Avenue area comprises the east edge of Snohomish bounded
by the Pilchuck River and the city center. The area is in transition
since the abandonment of the BNSF railroad and the creation of the Centennial
trail. The area is primarily zoned mixed use (MU) and commercial (C).
As
the East gateway to the city the area has been primarily developed for
commercial, business and auto-orientated business uses. The area has
become home to a new Snohomish Library and has the potential to become a
regional center.
