Funding to Promote Tourism in City

Funding Available to Non-Profits for 2018 Tourism Development and Promotion

The City of Snohomish is accepting applications from non-profit agencies for projects that assist tourism development and promotion in the City of Snohomish. The program is funded through the taxes imposed on lodging room rentals in the City of Snohomish. Funds will be available after January 1, 2018 on a reimbursement basis only for projects that will be completed by December 31, 2018. It is anticipated that the total available funds will be $8,500.

Completed applications are due in the City of Snohomish offices at 116 Union Avenue, Snohomish, WA 98290 by 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 15, 2017. No applications received after that time and date will be considered for funding.

Detailed instructions and online application can be found on the City’s Hotel-Motel Grant web page.

Applicants will be requested to present their projects at the Lodging Tax Advisory Committee meeting set for Monday, November 20, 2017 starting at 4:00 p.m. at the City of Snohomish City Hall, 116 Union Avenue, Snohomish, WA 98290.  Applicants will be contacted to confirm the presentation time.
