Melody Clemans has served on City Council since January, 2004 being
re-elected for a second term in November, 2007. Melody is a
lifetime resident of Snohomish and a graduate of Snohomish High
School. She is a small businessowner of an independent insurance
agency.
Melody is a member of the Snohomish Rotary and
president of the Snohomish Carnegie Foundation Board. The Carnegie
Foundation Board is charged with the responsibility of restoration
of our
historic Snohomish Carnegie Library Building. Funding of the
restoration will come from
grant applications and private contributions.
Once the restoration is completed the Carnegie Building will again
serve our community,
taking its rightful place as our most prominent publicly owned
historic building in the heart of our historic business district.
Melody is committed to assuring that Snohomish remains a quality
place
to live for all its residents and a fabulous place for people to
visit.
