Derrick Burke

  Derrick Burke was appointed to City Council in August of 2010.  The father of two, he has lived in Snohomish with his family since 1999.  He is employed as Chief Marketing Officer of Aurumis, Inc., a software company, and is also the owner of Burke Woodworking, a custom woodworking business.  Mr. Burke holds an MBA from the University of Washington Bothell and his professional background includes biotechnology, environmental resource consulting, economic/financial advising and entrepreneurship. 

  Derrick has served as a volunteer with the Arts of Snohomish, the Snohomish Adopt a Park program, the Snohomish Parks Foundation, the U.S. Forest Service, the Stilly Snohomish Fisheries Enhancement Task Force and Goodwill Industries International.
