Amendments to the Comprehensive Plan are processed on an annual cycle. The submittal deadline for the is March 31st of each year to allow for public participation. If approved by the City Council, all amendments become effective in January of the following year.

2016 Comprehensive Plan Amendments
One application is currently being processed for the 2016 cycle. The proposal is for a rezone of the property at 2501 Bickford Avenue. The property is 3.36 acres and is currently designated/zoned Business Park. The applicant is requesting a rezone to High Density Residential, which allows up to 24 units per acre.
The proposal is scheduled for public hearings before the Planning Commission on November 2, 2016, and the City Council on November 15, 2016. Agendas for these hearings will be available the Friday prior to the meeting, and can be downloaded from the Agenda Center.

Written comments regarding the proposal are welcome and may be submitted to Associate Planner Brooke Eidem in advance of the City Council public hearing on November 15th.
