Dog Licensing

Snohomish Municipal Code (SMC) 7.04.040 requires that all dogs residing within the City of Snohomish must be licensed. Unlicensed dogs shall be subject to impoundment pursuant to SMC Section 7.12.030 and/or a fine of $100.

To obtain an annual dog license, access the dog license application. You can also stop by City Hall and fill out an annual dog license application form. For spayed and neutered pets, the annual fee is $10 for an annual license, or $25 for a lifetime license. Only spayed and neutered pets qualify for the lifetime license. For unaltered pets, the fee is $36. Dangerous and potentially dangerous dogs are to be licensed annually for a fee of $100.
